In the 2025 Spring Medal of Honor, Professor Tsunenobu Kimoto of the Department of Electronic Engineering was awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon for his achievements (invention improvement) in “Development of silicon carbide semiconductor materials and devices for electric power”.
